Singles or Couples
At Ardmillan Place we understand that after many years of marriage, one of the hardest things can be for one of the partners to have to go into residential aged care. Worse still is when partners are admitted into different aged care homes.
This is why we have created spacious suites specifically to cater for couples.
Each suite is elegantly appointed with a private dining and reading area, en suite bathroom and separate en suite toilet. Couples can choose to sleep in two single or in one double bed. The views and recreation areas are of a quality to match the most elegant city apartments.
Each partner is afforded the appropriate level of care by our staff, so that a fully independent partner can travel and visit friends in the knowledge that their other half is in good hands. In this way people can continue to share one another’s lives, but in a way that removes all the hard work and much of the responsibility associated with looking after someone who can be highly dependent.
An alternative for some couples has been for one partner to live in our deluxe on-site apartments (www.ardmillanapartments.com.au) whilst the other is cared for at Ardmillan Place. Every option can be considered to ensure maximum flexibility.
